Tradition: Compassionate Management

His son, Bang Ji upheld his father’s lessons of honest management and careful selection of herbs. Above all, he treasured the example of compassionate care, never turning away the countless ailing villagers arriving at his door seeking his attention. The following generation, Tsai Mingpan, aspired to extend the family’s preserved values to all corners of the world by founding its first herbal processing facility in 1969.
The name KP soon became famous for the high quality of its herbal products. To meet surging demand, in 1984 KP expanded into a second, larger facility at Tainan Yungkang, multiplying the production capacity of its first plant. This facility was built to fully comply with international GMP standards, affirming KP’s product quality and establishing production capacity to serve international markets.
In 1990, KP began selling to the European Common Market. Because KP’s quality control policies uniformly satisfied the strict safety standards of the advanced Western European countries, KP’s sales quickly grew. In addition to the European markets, KP began to experience robust sales in Australia, America, Canada, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Building on these successes, in 1995 KP established its American branch, KPC Products, Inc.
Now with over twenty years experience in the American and European markets, KP’s steady international growth signals consumers’ confidence and support for our products. KP’s tireless dedication to excellence has earned it the distinction of being Taiwan’s leading exporter of concentrated extract granules.
